Knox Ghost Rides Again!

Bob H Boyd | Investigative Report ~ KnoxGhost News

More than a year ago, Haunted Knoxville Ghost Tours was rocked by a loss. Our original domain name, www.knoxghost.com, was ripped from our clutches by a set of online opportunists. The domain was ransomed back to us for a colossal upcharge. Though lesser teams might have paid the bounty, we held fast. Luckily, after months and months of waiting, not to mention rebranding all of our materials to www.knoxghost.net, Haunted Knoxville Ghost Tours has triumphed. In the words of J- Adam Smith, “I refused to give in.”

“We are KnoxGhost,” says Smith and the name is finally, “back in the family.” Now, whether you’re partial to “.net” or “.com” you’ll be able to find the home of Haunted Knoxville Ghost Tours, and the answers to all your paranormal investigation needs. This kind of thievery is common to active online businesses like HKGT, as companies from around the world constantly track website traffic and jump on any vulnerable domain. According to our founder, when it comes to website ownership, small business owners have to be sure to, “Read the fine print.”

However, when it comes to making sure that Knoxvillians can reach out to experience our haunted city, and making sure they find the right guide through that world, changing our domain and its associated efforts was a, “[labor] of love.” Until next time, the investigation continues at www.knoxghost.com .

Unfinished Business in Knoxville: Skeletons in Our Closets

Bob H Boyd | Investigative Reporter ~ Knoxghost

If you’ve ever watched a horror movie, or flipped past the SyFy channel, you know that the personal baggage we leave behind has always been linked to paranormal activity. You shouldn’t trust everything you see on TV, but, in this case, there is truth in the myth. Many paranormal experts, including our own J. Adam Smith, agree that the kind of energy involved in unfinished human business has strong influence on hard-to-explain occurrences. Places in your everyday routine might be brimming with paranormal energy.

Locations like this take all shapes and sizes. J. Adam Smith has had experiences in places that housed secret societies, and extensive Mafia activity. However, one of the most intensive paranormal sights he had to discuss was Waverly Hills Sanitarium, native to Kentucky. This building, once home to many mentally troubled and potentially haunted individuals, flows over with unresolved angst and trauma. Smith’s biggest warning about these kinds of sights is that they can reach out and affect your psyche. It’s imperative that you take necessary precautions to defend against these rouge energies. It seems that, when it comes to ghosts, insanity is catching.

Keep in mind, as you traverse the rich historical and emotional landscape of Knoxville, that you may be sensitive to these traumatic imprints, and that there are ways to defend yourself. These kinds of spiritual sinkholes could be anywhere, and, in a city like ours, might be lying in wait for an empath like you. Paranormal investigators like J. Adam Smith are true fountains of knowledge when it comes to how these energetic warzones manifest in our day-to-day life, but, if one thing is certain, it’s that you should trust your instincts. If it gives you the wiggens, keep moving, and keep your eyes open for sites of unfinished business near you.

Saturday, February 28th, 2015

Historic Ramsey House at 2614 Thorn Grove Pike in Knoxville will be introducing to the public, for the first time, the results of the paranormal investigation by Haunted Knoxville Ghost Tour’s J-Adam Smith and captured on video by Patrick Watson of Mapletree Productions.

In this Award Winning presentation you will see the long awaited results that may put to rest all the speculation as to whether Historic Ramsey House is haunted. “For years,” said Director Judy LaRose, “there have been reports of spiritual or ghostly sightings by passer-bys, neighbors, visitors and even some of our own board members and staff. We felt it was time to put the rumors to rest by having a Paranormal Investigation.”

The half hour video documents the investigation along with the history of the home and family.  There will then be a half hour tour led by J Adam Smith discussing the details of paranormal investigating. We think you will find this as exciting and fascinating as we did.
